Pixie Pivot for Blender
Set a custom Pivot Point to align your Gizmos or change an object's Origin.
Also works without gizmos (G, R, S transforms).
Pixie Pivot is a Blender add-on inspired by Maya and 3DSMax's pivot systems. Under the hood it is merely a facilitator for placing Blender's 3DCursor, which is what allows us to re-align gizmos, set new object origins (both place and rotate), define a custom plane to flatten geometry or align edges, and more.
So don't be fooled, there is much you can do in Blender by controlling the 3DCursor; pair that with ease of use and full customization, this is a tool every Blender user should have.
Watch the Demo:
ALIGN TO ELEMENT NORMALS
Align your gizmos to follow edges or face normals.
DON'T LOSE YOUR SELECTION
Click and drag to align your gizmo with another element, without needing to change selections.
SNAP TO BOUNDING BOX
You can also snap to mesh centers and bounding box elements.
MULTI-PIVOT POINTS
Supports up to 3 alignment points when precision is needed.
SET ORIGINS TOO
Instead of aligning gizmos, you can also set new object origins (watch the demo, this gif is misleadingly short).
FULLY CUSTOMIZABLE
Change hotkeys and actions, set new startup defaults, colors and more.
EASY TO LEARN
The built-in HUD displays every action and every key you can press, so you're never lost.
